actually the gsr header is shorter in length than the ls header(you may be thinking of the LS exhaust being shorter)........ the header will bolt up fine to the head but the only way to make your exhaust bolt up right would be to either use an ls cat and ls exhaust; or have your (gsr) exhaust shortened at the b-pipe by cutting out a section of the pipe and re-welding the flange
