LS 4-2-1 DC header on GSR?
Anyone know if the LS header will fit on a GSR motor?
the bolt pattern looks the same... I compared it with the
exhaust gasket from the GSR. we havent had a chance to
pull the header off yet to check for sure... any takers?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by soakit »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">yes it will fit.
the only differance might be where they bolt up under the car. one might be slightly long then the other. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes, the LS header will be about 4" longer than the GSR.

Re: LS 4-2-1 DC header on GSR? (VTECVillain)
vtecvillian is right...the ls exhaust is shorter, but the headers are longer, so they equal the same length as a gsr's...as long as you get a ls exhaust on the car, it will fit fine, except for the catalytic converter...the O2 sensor for a ls is on the header right before the flange...on a gsr, it is on the cat...plus the bolt patterns are tilted slightly different, which means you have to put the O2 sensor in the headers, and point the o2 sensor whole from the gsr cat twards the ground slightly....(you might want to plug that whole up with something, also)
i sold my headers and exhaust off my LS to a friend with a GSR, and had to put it on for him...
