Putting in Pistons and Rod bolt threads hit crank journal and Scared. OK OR NO..
I'm such an idiot. SH**T, F*CK, dam, ..........
Is this going to be a problem or not. As I was tapping the piston into the cylinder I fogot to move the crank to it lowest spot for the cylcinder i was doing and hit the BRAND NEW MICORPOLISHED JOURNAL I SPENT $80 DOLLARS ON.
Do you think I can take some High grit Sandpaper a go over it lightly or...?
You can see it and running my finger nail across is horrible. I think I can rub it out though. Give me some insite helllllllllllpppppp.
I have new bearing but dont want to build this engine if I'm going to have to take it apart again.

Next time use a piece of vacuum hose on the rod bolts so if you do it again it doesn't hurt anything. Good luck!

Yes, use rubber hose on the rod bolts to prevent them from damaging anything.

Take the crank back to the machine shop and have them fix it, do not try and sand it out yourself.
take it back and hope that it can be polished out without going with undersize bearings
next time do like the other guys said. vacuum hose, fuel line, duct tape, etc. on the bolts
