Default Experience with Dayton/Grainger tools?

I've been doing some research on equipment for my shop, bandsaw, drill press, grinders, belt sander, etc. Anyone have any experience with the stuff Grainger sells, Dayton. We have a Dayton drill press at Bob's and it's done pretty good over the past couple years, but that's all the experience I have with their stuff. Any suggestions?

We have a couple small Dayton drill presses and at least a dozen Dayton bench grinders and they are badass. A couple of the grinders are at least 10 years old and run like brand new even though they no longer look it. I actually used one of the small old dayton drill presses today and its still strong as new and there is no telling how old it is. This stuff gets used alot daily and gets no care at all.

I'd definitely recommend their bench grinders but have only used the drill press a few times so I haven't got the most experience with it. About the best bandsaw I've used is a Dake. Never a problem being used 2-3 hours a day 5 days a week.

Yea, I would expect them to make good stuff, especially for the price

I have the 15" vertical bandsaw from Dayton. I haven't had it more than 5-6 months and have had no problem it seems pretty solid to me,I don't see where it would ever give you any problems it's pretty well built for the money. Also Sears sells the same Dayton saws with there name on them.

We ordered all our tools from Grainger at my old semiconductor/biotech job. We used their verticle band saws, belt sanders, bench grinders and buffers, drill press, and bead blast media and never had a problem with any of their products. Oh yeah, we used their starret and mitutoyu tools as well. Nice quality those tools are.

when I was a parts driver for Honda I used to go the Grainger to pick up stuff for them. (the one in Plano off of 15th st I think it was) So I would think that they have a good rep...

I bought a Dayton 16" drill press used years ago and it still works great. Also had 14 trouble free years with a Dayton air compressor before it was stolen.
