I have a 1995 Del Sol, it has been infested with spiders. I am wondering if it will hurt the interior to set off a "bug bomb"?

The car was infected by being parked under a carport, and the spiders just came in. The seal around the top is deteriorating, they must get in that way and have made nests..... creepy creepy and I drive it daily.

You guys are so great! I am not much of a car person so I cannot easily remove my seats and dash... so I am getting my car detailed on Saturday!

just vacuum them up, or put it in the sun and let them die......

 

sell it or burn it...i hate spiders, i would never get in it again.

 

Some basic Raid should clear up the problem for you... Just make sure you vacuum the hell out of it! God, that gave me the twitches.

 

How the heck did your car get infested with spiders! Do you never drive it or something!

3. if you set off a bomb in there your car will STINK just like the bomb. I would say like the last guy said roll up the window and set it in the sun and see if you can cook those 8 legged bastards!

i guess the bug bomb would not work becuz, in all of our cars, i think there alot vents, or the car is not sealed perfectly, it would be a waste, i think what

Get one of those spider traps and leave it in the car for a while. They sell them at home depot.

 

I agree, how the **** did it get infected with spiders? This is probably the most wierd question I have ever heard on here.......

RAID it and then cook the bastards in the sun like they said!

 

vacuum up as many as possible, take out your seats, spray an *** load of raid, remove the rest of the interior, spray again, clean raid smell out of carpet, reinstall interior.
I know that sounds like overkill, but you don't want to be driving down the road and find a big *** spider crawling on you all the time.

i say the easiest is going to be putting it in the sun all day with the windows up. cook the bastards then vacume up the remains very simple. i did it when my mustang some how got swarmed by bees. it killed them all.

You do realize that spiders live in the DESERT. Hot sun isn't going to do **** to them. If you want to kill spiders. BURN THEM ************* DOWN!! haha.

 

catch a couple birds and trap them in the car too. sooner or later they'll eat them all.

LMAO, that commercial always cracks me up even though ive seen it a grip of times.

 

haha... anyway, just leave the car outside for a bit. no need to vacuum or the sun. hard to find any source of food in a car anyway; they'll eventually move. since my family and i were so broke, i used to keep black widows as pets. i love spiders...

 

I hate spiders and roaches. Just catch a few lizards and put them in there, they will eat them.
