bogging after cai install

Default bogging after cai install

My car boggs around 6000 rpms after i installed my cold air intake , and not before . Anyone have any sugestions? i restetted my ecu already ... but still nothing .

Did you make sure to hook up your IAVC plug (I think that's what it's called). On my AEM CAI, I had to drill a hole for it and that seemed to fix my bogging at low idle...could be the same thing?

I always heard that when you do something to the car, you let it idle for a little bit so that the ecu adapts to the new parameters...

Wether it's true or not, I dunno...

AFAIK, you only need to do that to ODB1 & 2 computers. I don't think OBD 0 ecu's work like that.

I think you do that with obd0 also... but it shouldn't matter on the high end. I think only for closed loop.
(Sorry if I'm spreading mis-information. Some one please correct me)

If this is true, maybe try re-setting your ECU.
