I need to replace my steering column because my car was recently broken into. Any one know how or where I can find out how to install a tilt steering column because I cannot afford a shop (best price I got was $500). Please respond soon, I am currently without a car.

I'd find one to yank from a junkyard yourself, then you'll have a great idea of what it takes to reinstall.

^ A lot of bolts in tight places up under the dash, I'm guessing
