For those that don't go over to "that other site"
Some pics from the shop that is doing my swap. Courtesy of ivtec-si.

no more motor
Old Motor
New motor (K24A2)
Torn ESMM inserts. I've got a Hasport billet rear motor mount coming to help with this issue. We'll see how well it works.

Yesseree indeed I am. It will be a stock K24A2 with the JRSC 3.4" pulley for around 9lbs of boost. I'm hoping to hit 300+ whp out of this.
A company called IPS has some S/C specific cams that I want to get. Right now they are only on their things to do list, not even in development yet that I am aware of though so who knows how long it will be.

also, you sticking with the 5spd eh? </TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes indeed I have seen Chunky's posts. I hope to see the car itself tomorrow night! His cams are for a n/a application though, and for the A3 head so wouldn't be suitable for my use. He has hinted at some FI cams to come in the future though. I will wait and see what develops.
As for the tranny, yep sticking with the 5 speed for now, and putting the taller RSX-S final drive in too. With as much torque as I expect to be putting out I really think the 5 speed is a better choice.

Well the swap is completed. My setup is a little different from the Hondata base tune so right now it runs like crap. Scheduled to go on the dyno on Tuesday though so that should fix that.
All in all it went pretty smooth. The only problem we ran into was the torn rear motor mount and that was solved by the Hasport piece. Nice looking piece by the way too bad it is buried down where you can't see it.
Hopefully I'll have some new pics and a dyno sheet on Tuesday

I have been following this over at ephatch, this thing is going to make silly power. It even got me thinking about just the k24a2 with nice bolt ons and Hondata, so much power to be had. Cant waite to see what you pull.
Good luck!

A little delay. I just got off the phone with the tuning shop and they can't get to it until Thursday now.
I feel like a little kid that has just been told that Christmas is going to be postponed.
For those of you that read Grassroots Motorsports the tuner I'm waiting on is Ed Senf. He tunes all their Honda's. He is really good, but I'm not to fond of the shop he is works out of. Things have worked out so he is going to tune my car at another shop, on his own time (well my time since I'm still paying for it)

A brief update. Got a call from the tuner around 8:30 tonight. He had driven the car home to do some street tuning in preparation for going on the dyno tomorrow. This guy works out of a local Subaru dealer, he tunes built WRX STI's all day long, and with only very rough street tuning done he was already taling about this car being stupid fast.
He races go carts professionally, and teaches a driving school too, and he had an opening on Monday for a school he is teaching so I'll have my baby out on a road course Monday. I'll be able to really give her a workout. I'll be sure to post up.
