I think so...not 100% sure though. Basically a DX to EX tranny swap. Bump for sure.

Yes, all D-Series transmissions have interchangeable parts. Axles are one of them.

thanks... see, im doin a motor swap to a z6, and we put the whole thing in yesterday, and we got the shift linkage hooked up, and all the gears were horribly loose and sloppy, and the tranny from my d15b7 is PERFECT, so im takin the stage 2 clutch out of the z6 tranny, and puttin it on my d15b7 tranny, will it matter that the d15b7 tranny wasnt off a vtec motor?

could the sloppyness of the gears have to do anything with not hookin the linkage up properly?

I think so, but how can you not hook up shift linkages right. There is no way it can be "loose". Only if the shifter bushings are shot. The clutch is not part of the tranny. It is bolted to the flywheel and it's bolted to the engine. Just swap the trannies if it is really bad. What do you mean by slopping in all the gears? Does it engage in all the gears? When you shift is it like nothing is there (any resistance)? I think we need more information.
