thinking about buying a bike ..... opinions?
Ok, i am thinking about buying a 2001 Suzuki GSXR600 it has 3800. price is $2900
this is my frist bike so i am looking for some opinions.

he is a tech at a suzuki store and he was originally asking $3500. i work down the street at a ford store. i think he wants a GT mustang

yes, money is really not the issue. i could have a new bike if i wanted it. i really just want something fun to learn on.

for me, since im kinda smaller, the r6 were alot easier. depending on your size, the r6 are alot thinner than those gsx-r. i started off with a 2000 r6. good beginners bike imo

my feeling exactly. however, i like the feel of the r6 a lot better. i am a little bit small (ie a girl
). maybe i will just get a older r6.

i also took that into consideration and he really wants new mustang and he thinks i can help him on price (i can but not really, they pretty much sell for sticker)

i know i hate these threads too but i honestly dont know where to start. i have been lerking in this forum for a little over a year now and i think that i am finally ready to buy.
