Default Need a h22a in Ontario/Quebec ... can anyone point me to a good vendor?

Hello,

A buddy of mine blew his 01 lude engine today ... since it's still under warranty, he's going to try to get Honda to fix it. On the off chance that they will not cover it, does anyone have any suggestions on where to get a good, low mileage H22A?

To answer the questions about what is wrong with it, we don't exactly know yet. So once we know, then we can make a decision on fix versus replace.

Thanks a lot,

Graham

i used jkjapaneseengines.com - they are in vancouver (out west) which prob don't help ya too much in the shipping dept. - but keeps it canadian. I've had no problem with the engine (after minor setup issues) and it runs really strong. i got swung a pretty sweet deal at about 1700 (w/o tranny - used my h23 tranny) w/ ecu and that's CAN. and i didn't have to worry about shipping cuz i was local. they also give 3 month (or more?) startup guarantee.

also, out east you could try contacting this guy (name?) at jdmredline@hotmail.com - i bought my jdm headies off of him - so i suppose he might have a few more hookups for japanese honda related parts - in any case - he's also a canuck. and is closer to your area (i think?)

cheers.
