Door buzzer problem

If someone opens my passenger door while the car is running, my door open buzzer wont quit until i turn the car off.. and when i start it back up it doesnt sound anymore. The driver door doesnt do this.. any ideas on how i could fix it?

it gets lame having to turn the car off everytime someone gets in the passenger side

Sounds like a bad circut. I would check the door switch first and work from there.

Pop the cover off your rear view mirror and un-screw it. Then just disconnect the buzzer and seat belt lights. Problem solved.

did that today. much better than busting out a ewd and finding the prob... my car evidentally has 2 door switches on each door... something i didnt know
