Default what offset on a 95' Civic with 5lug conversion?

i hav a civic HB 95' that i now run with 7*18" and the offset/ET is 40mm.

I'm know going to covert to ITR 5lug, does that changed the offset for my car?
Can i run 40mm offset aswell?
And yes I'm going to run a smaler rim like 16" or 17".

Thanx for any reply.

this is what 40mm offset 17x7's look like on a 4-lug setup. 5-lug should be no different if the rotors have the same thickness at the hat.
