I live in CT and I went to emissions one time about 16 months ago and my car failed(this was during the time CT was having problems w/ their emission testing machines, so I thought nothing of it and emissions were dicontinued till further notice.) Well my time came up again and I went for the testing and when he plugged the computer into the OBD, he said that the machine was showing as if he didnt even plug it in. Any ideas what could be wrong? A friend of mine told me it could be because since I keep the car and storage and I disconnect the negative battery terminal, that the short drive down the street to get my testing done, that theyre isnt enough time for the on board computer to collect any real information.
