Default odd exhaust leak problem

i put a header on my car abour 2 months ago and had it installed at meineke...big mistake. they didn;t put the flex bolts back on. so they just slammed it down with regular hex bolts and a couple nuts. it was trying to flex and squeek and stuff so i went to acura and got the bolts myself to put them on. i got them on fine. but there is now a big gap between the header and the cat, it wont get an closer than i have it now.i have been racking my brain trying to find a way to fix it. anyone have an idea? the donut gasket is new also so its not that.

are the bolts all the way tight and there is still a gap? are you sure you got the right bolts?

ok i got that gap i was talking about plugged with this putty cold weld crap that appears to be working. BUT there is another leak!! where else can it be leaking from? should i put some gasket sealer stuff around the gasket that attaches the header to the block? the exhaust is relatively new so i dont think its a hole or anything. any ideas?

well i think the brand is called victor. but its just an exhaust muffler and exhaust system sealer thinger. any kind should do fine. but theres still a leak...where could it be coming from. i brought it to 4 places they say there is no leak. but i know there is i can hear it. any common places it would leak from with aftermarket stuff on there?
