Default Help, breaking WG bolts.

So I was driving down the free way monday. All of a sudden my exhaust gets loud. I get to work and pop the hood. Both bolts that hold the WG on were sheared/broke off. So I went into work got an ez out and took the broken parts out... Got 2 bolts from one of our supplies. Cut them down so they'd fit, drove home took the car apart and put it back together.. All is good till thursday. Once again driving down the freeway. Exhaust gets loud. Check it out again. Same thing but this time one broke and the other actually unscrewed it self. What could be causing this? I have 2 guesses any of these sound like it could be it?

1.) A mixture of heat and expansion. I had the bolts too tight and they just went past their tensil strength.

2.) Vibration, I don't think I have a motor mount shot so I don't think this is a reason.

But I couldn't find a decent gasket so I rigged up one with some of that rvt copper gasket **** to try and help. Any of you have suggestions?

try using a stud with locktite, into the thread, and then a nut and a lockwasher instead of a bolt.
