Blox B (S2S2) users: Are any of you guys using oem cam gears with these?
Basically what I'm trying to figure out is if I can install my Blox B cams using the stock honda cam gears or if it is absolutely necessary to advance the intake cam +1 to +2 as the Blox spec sheet recommends. The sheet recommends a 0 setting for the exhaust, so I know that stock will be just fine on the exhaust side. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Maybe you could just set the cam gear so that its advanced a tooth... I remember reading somewhere that offsetting the stock cam gears by one tooth is equivalent to two degrees on an adjustable cam gear or something like that. I don't know if this is totally correct, but it's something to look into.
Thanks for the suggestion but I think skipping a tooth would be very unwise, and I know from experience that cars run like **** when you do this. It affects the cam timing by much more than a couple degrees. Anyone else with Blox B (S2S2) cams have some input?
