2.0 CRV Info needed for boost!
I was wondering what the difference between the 1.8L LS and the 2.0 L CRV?
whats the displacement of the 2.0 in terms of cc. the LS is 1835 or something like that.
Also, wondering if the intake manifold of the LS will bolt onto the CRV Head because the CRV intake manifold is a monster!
And is there any differences Internally between the CRV and LS? Such as the sleeve design or anything?
And is the CRV motor stronger then the LS?
Thanks.
Or anyone know a website that i can goto that has info on CRV swaps and info on the engine.

Yea, as far as I remember, a CRV motor is a large bore B18a/b block with special sleeves and thicker cylinder walls(better for boosting). And yea, the LS manifold is a popular choice, it'll work, although look into the B18c5 TB (62mm).

sorry about your motor. anyway, the crv is the same block as the ls but with a bigger bore. the heads are the same and that means your intake manifold will bolt onto a b20 head. i'd use your old ls block and send it out to get sleeved(only costs 800) buy some je pistons and crower rods, and you'll have a bad *** block for around 2000. a stock b20 will run your around 1000-1200 so you might as well run the ls(sleeved and overbored).

on there u can find ls long blocks for like 700 bucks with 20k....I have seen a couple motors down in stafford for that
