Maybe alignment? Toe angle?

 

i dont think you can align caster on a civic i know you cant align camber without the kit. and if all the suspension has been changed i would say yea your frame is bent. when a car gets in an accident it will never be like new. well i guess it can be with the right amount of money.

 

Caster is not adjustable from the factory.

I'd take it to a body shop and have them measure to see what is bent. It'll be free, and takes the guesswork out of replacing peices.

 

O yeah, so would be to my benefit to go to a Body Shop or an alignment shop????

Yea go to a car body shop and get alignment. Nothing too major.

Man, it would be major to me if the frame was bent . I wanna trade shells now.

 

you said the wheel is sitting towards the BACK of the car...NOT inside correct? If it's sitting towards the back, chances are it's your LCA. Forget the whole frame damage thing because if it was, you'll notice alot more then just the wheel not being centered...hell the car wouldn't even roll right if it was bent in that area...

frames that are bent and visible to the human eye is pretty messed up...frames could twist without us knowing it at all...remember UNIbody

EDIT...when you waid if they were already replaced, was the spindle replaced too? All new bushings?

Ok, yes... you are correct.. the wheel is sitting towards the back of the car... NOT inside. It is not really that noticeable. But i notice little things like this. You said it could possibly be the LCA, but i think that was replace. Now you say that it could be the spindle and bushings that might cause this??? I was looking at the spindle today after i washed the car... hmm.... could it be the spindle?? could it could it???
*scratches head*... could a bent spindle cause bad caster?

 

i pmed you back with some info...as for the topic...id get a alignment CHECK...don't get one done, but just get it checked out at first to see if your caster is off...remember:

did you ever figure out what was wrong with ur car? I have the same problem too. Passenger side wheel sits a further back a lil bit and i've changed out the front lca, lower lca, the whole knuckle. I know my caster is knocked back because due to hopping on a curb when i lost control of the car going prob around 30mph or something. it wasnt a big curb though. nothing got messed up except the alignment and the rims got cracked/curbed

My 1.6EL was like that too, and it bugged me. My subframe was bent... but everything else was replaced; LCA, UCA, spindle and axle. When I had it in for the alignment, the caster was still within spec, but my car pulled a little bit more to the left on flat roads.

 

could the frame itself be bent or does that usually dont get bent until u get into a bigger accident?

 

The subframe/cradle could be bent, mine was.
