Default ? About sunroof plugs in NDRA COMP4

Here in the rule book it states :
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Due to most sunroofs not being safety glass, sunroof
plugs allowed, but must work as original sunroof did.</TD></TR></TABLE>
So being that the car is an EX with has an electric sunroof, does this mean it has to be retained as a functioning sunroof still opening and closing as it came from Honda?

Just wanted to make sure I was reading into this right, in turbo4 is doesn't state the 2nd line, just the part about not being saftey glass and plugs allowed.

I'm pretty sure the carbon plugs are legal.

Just seems odd to allow plugs, but then they have to work though.

Sending NOPI tech email.

Nopi allows the sunroof plugs. A couple of the guys that run in that class run the CF plugs. Not sure about NHRA.

Sunroof plugs are legal in NHRA and NDRA. The wording seems strange though because I don't see how you could throw lexan or cf in your roof and and still have it functional, well without spending tons of money anyway. There was a post a while back where Jim Skelly responded to this topic as plugs were legal. At the speeds some guys are running I would hate to have a glass moonroof over my head. Here is the post from a while back:

I don't think anything has changed and I haven't heard of anyone being turned away at the track.
