Default VIN decoding

Does anyone have some kind of list of the meanings of the difference parts of the VIN for 99+ Civics? I found the 98- meanings but can't find them for a 99 Civic VIN I wanna look up, and I can't just use carfax or whatever cause all I have is 1HGEM1152XL######. Thanks for any help.

P.S. I think that if someone put this info up then a lot of people would benefit in the long run.

I would but I'm not going to go to the store right now and waste money on the book just to get info about the VIN... I'm sure there is someone else on here who wouldn't mind helping me and other people with the same question out

P.S. I know you were just trying to help out, and I'm not trying to sound stupid if I do... is there maybe an online manual for 99-00 civics with VIN info?

Sorry if I'm confusing I'm trying to find out what the meanings of 99+ Civics are, to "decode" it. I search on honda-tech, jdmcivic.com, yahoo.com, don't know where else to look. Like I said, I found the info for 98 and below civics, but not 99 and up

If someone could help I'd appreciate it

Ever thought about just going to a dealership and ask the parts/services guys to take a look at their tech manual? Or any Honda/Acura independent shops?

Amazing what typing "honda vin" into a google search bar will bring up in .23 seconds.

This is what I got, it didn't give me all the info:

Description Position Raw Data Decoded Data
Region: 1 1 North America
Country: 1-2 1H U.S.A.
Manufacturer: 2-3 HG Honda
Model Specific: 4-8 EM115 Unknown
Check Digit: 9 2 Invalid
Year: 10 X 1999
Assembly Plant: 11 L L
Serial Number: 12-17 0

Oh well.
