Default where is oil getting through?

98ITR with 72K miles. Pretty much all Auto-X only street miles are driving to events.

DTR header
SMS 2.5 exhaust
Toda B's

New head gasket and Leak Down test

At this time the head is off for rebuild but this was done before removing the head.

This is a picture of where the muffler pipe meets the S-pipe before going over the rear LCA.

I know ITRs are notorious for burning oil but this is too much, I put a quart every couple of hundred miles / every 2 events.

Just looking and thinking ahead for when head goes back on.

Any ideas?

Thanks

can you describe a little more, like is the oil coming from inside the exhaust or is it leaking down the exhaust? Right side of the car, left side? Any oil leaking from the head, oil pan, drain plug?

You don't have a race car if you don't have an oil leak... but damn, thats a lot of oil... Does it smoke a lot when you first start up?

it may sound dumb, but is your oil filter on tight?

the oil is coming out of the exhaust. right before the rear lower contorl arm.

The car does not smoke when I start it up.

I don't have a mechanical oil gauge.

I think it was getting passed the valve seals but no way to really tell, the head is off now for a rebuild. I used to get oil on the spark plugs, the top near the thread from the outside( the side the Cables plug into). Hopefully the rebuild and a new head will solve the problem. Mostly posting in case it could be somethign different and someone may have an idea or previous experience. thanks
