well I don't want to spend $150 right off the bat to get revalving done, I want to know what it can handle right out of the box without getting them revalved.

im assuming this is for a track car.....

why dont you tell us the spring rates and how much you want to change suspension travel, and then we tell you wether or not normal koni yellows can take it....

in general, yellows can take most anything...spring rates arent what kills shocks as much as changing the rate of travel and wear on the shock by lowering it

I plan on lowering it 2.25 in the front and 2.0 in the back. I'm surrounded by bumpy back roads, main roads are smooth. I plan on like 300-350 in the front and 425-450 in the back...

why the hell are they so stiff in the rear?? are these custom rates from GC???.....yellow's should hold up fine on those....but if they are GC, get the ones that are made to work with each other.....

sigh, some people dont know what they're talking about

in a fwd, if your rear is stiffer than ur front, it will be easier to rotate the car in turns.

lots of autox's and road racers run extremely stiff rears..they go up in the 1200's+ when their fronts are like 600-800. sure, you can get a front of 800 and a rear of 500. have fun with understeer.

to ansewr your question, those koni's will handle your rates fine. the yellows should be able to handle higher rates without getting revalved too.

im on 350/450 on kyb agx's. the agx's dont dampen enough tho :\

To be completely honest, I don't know jack about rates, I just know that the lower the # the softer and the higher the stiffer. If the KONI's can handle 400-600 stock with a 2.25-2.5 drop without any problem then there's no point in talking about this until I'm about to order my ground controls...thanks
