F22 w/ F23 dohc head?
I had an idea i wanted to run across some of our more experienced builders, so here goes. Will the Dohc head from the F23b work on the F22A? If not is there any Dohc heads that will work? Also would like to know every thing that would be needed ie, ecu, wiring, etc. any help is appreciated.
p.s. please no hateful remarks such as " thats a stupid question" Or " just get an H22" i have already thought about that and don't want an H22 its this or a jdm F20b

WHat i meant was the F23 out of the 5th gen accord and i'm not dur what letter is at the end, i just guessed. I'm new to honda engines, hints the question!!
its vtec....vtech is a phone company
yea, you can put the f22b1 head on, or you could put on an h22 head....h22 head will require alot more work to run oil routes through the head.....other for DOHC non-vtec, theres the F22b DOHC or the H23...but those again would require some exteneive work

Ok tell me you at least read the basic guide and have you also read the rules of the forum. Obviously you haven't because in the rules it asked that you search. Since you don't know how to I will provide you with links that show how to put a f22b1 head on a f22b2 (almost the same as f22a).

I put these threads from different forums because I know where these are at without having to search. I suggest you lose your attitude and try to learn a thing or two. If you like I can search on honda-tech just to show you these threads are here too, but I will save you the embarassment.

just for kicks
it's almost the same price to put a lower mileage f23a1/4 VTEC motor in your accord than doing all the custom work.
what's the gain? 10hp at the fly, 15?
