Default Refurbished rockford fosgate amplifier

I was in the market for a new amplifier and a found a pretty decent price for a refurbished(by rockford fosgate) rockford fosgate amplifier 1000 bd amp..Anyone have any experience with a refurbished amp..yay or nay..thanks

From what I hear they should be as good if not better than new because the deafect would've been fixed from the factory and all spex checked out to make sure it works the way it should.

I bought a referbed deck and it works great. No probs and it's been almost a year. Sorry, it's not an amp.

in my opinion... refurbished means something happened to the amplifier causing it malfunction. i rather have a used clean title car then a salvaged restored car. do the math

I was thinking since it was fixed by RF it should be ok..They make them so it would be no problem for them to fix anything that was wrong with it..Only thing i might have to worry about is cosmetic. I don't really care about that no one is gonna see it..

I don't really care about that no one is gonna see it..</TD></TR></TABLE>You should be fine with it, most mauf. referbs are because they found a problem with the unit, [to many coming back with the same problem] so they pull them all, replace the diode or resister or whatever it was that was wrong, and the amp IS BETTER then it was, because it has been opened and a mod. has been done it can't be sold as new, even though most are, I have a referbed Alpine HU, it had never been installed, [ I am an installer, I can tell] had it for 2 years now no problemo. 94

PS. Check on warranty and if you can buy extra warranty just to be safe.
