HOWEVER, those cars are stock... a slightly modded 240 will eat up a modded ITR. Such is life.

I'll admit, the Silva conversions locally are taking over in a big way. Lots of sr20det's and even an rb20det into 240's of every body style..... low 13's with MILD upgrades!

Allmotor just doesn't seem to cut it anymore.

I love the silvia and the ITR and I was very excited when the ITR won but I must say it must have been the driver. Although it was hard to explain why the R pulled on the silvia in third gear. Maybe the silvia they tested had some mechanical problems?

Yes I did read the top post before I posted. And I just read it again when you asked. What are you getting at? Or are you being sarcastic about the "we have hondas and hondas always win" joke? But if you are talking about me asking why the R won, it is because the silvia has so much more hp and torque plus the R doesn't have much weight advantage over that silvia. btw, I did watch the video.

Who? Me?

I'm just arguing that BM makes quality perspecitves on automotives. They are always my reliable source of reference.
Some people over there sounds like as if BM drivers are bunch of scams that gave ITR an advantages or something.

Just like people think the GTR is actually FAST stock, many people have so many

What is a "quality perspective?" A single test or multiple averaged attempts? Hmm... one test vs. numerous magazine articles that showed the opposite result... seems like a pretty reliable source to me. Not saying it's a scam, by any means, but I do think that it might not be quite the whole picture.

 

Likewise. Im so tired of everyone saying how ultra badass the gtr is when it
cant even beat the nsx. even with twin turbos.

 

They kept saying the ITR is ~2600lbs, that's USDM spec.
The JDM ITR is 1080kg, which is only 2381 lbs. Compare to the ~2900 lbs Silvia, that's a good 400+ lbs difference. Who cares about the extra 20hp that Silvia has.......
