Default h22 swap done - but no power from 1k-3k rpms! HELPPP

Hey guys, after too long i finally got my car up and running after throwing in an automatic jdm h22. everything is running fine the only problem is it feels as if it is very short of power in low rpms. as the rpms start to climb so does my power. anyone experience this? any suggestions? kinda ruining my swap fun

thanks guys
James

if you are missing power in a certain (high or low) rpm band, its usually timing related. put a timing light on it.

I'll bet a cam is one tooth off... specifically, the exhaust cam is retarded by a tooth (just a guess)

take the timing belt off. set the crank and cam gears to tdc, put belt back on, tighten tensioner. get timing light. jump 2 pin connector by ecu. clip light to plug wire 1. shine light on service hole in tranny at flywheel. line up the mark on the tranny housing with the mark on the flywheel by turning the dizzy. tighten dizzy in correct position.
