Default Launching set up

what rpm should i lauch at with this set up? ie. <set my 2 step rev limiter at>

i have 900lbs skunk2 springs on the back
with tein felx dampener on the front.
L-cons traction bar, and bf goodrich T/A drag radials.

Engine set up h22 eg hatch

prospeed header
j-racing big mouth ram air
aem ems

Let me know i'm getting hitting the track for the first time in this Car with new engine and set up. <looking for low twelves to high elevens--in september before battle of the imports>


I have Azenis on it now and i launch at 3000-3500 and get a small amount of spinning.

launched last night for the first time @ 3500 with my new BFG T/A radials and still go took of the line the psi was 21 i set it at.

i lauched at 5000 today and it launch pretty good not too much tire slipage

lauched at 6000 and the car pulled hard to the right so i thin that's too high?

Unless you have an LSD, your car will pull to one side. Its called torque steer. Also, what works well on the streats, may not work the same at the track. Ideally, you can launch higher at the track because its more sticky.

do you think 6000k is to high or will i have to wait to see the dyno grafffffff to see where the torque peaks?

What kinda power are you making? You'll need to be trapping close to 120 to get 11's on those radials.

it's the american h22a 190 - 18%

about 156 whp maybe a bit more with header and intake i will hit the dyno this weekend and i will be 100% postive then

yahhhhh, ummmm, your gonna need alot more power then that to break 11's on radials.

yeah i know i'm just trying to get a feel for what i can get with what i got and then figure what in need to get to accomplish my goal.
