Default Coolant Reservoir question..?

Just wondering since I came home from a Hour drive. I popped the hood when i just got home and checked out the engine bay while it was fresh off the road. I noticed that the Coolant was passed the max line. Wasn't over flowing but was about 2 1/2 Centimeters passed the max line.

Is that normal?

Yes, this is normal, the hose that attaches the radiator cap to the coolant reservoir can transport coolant in either direction. If the coolant is hot, it will most likely send a little bit into the reservoir, if the radiator needs more coolant, it will suck in some. Don't worry about it, that's why they say to check your coolant levels when the car is cold.
