Default More Prep and Some Fresh Bling in Time for Expo!

Since everyone else is whoring their caRs out for the sake of Expo, I figured I'd do the same

This past Sunday I went to Dan's house for some Expo prep. Dan, as in Dan GSR Motorsports Dan.

My OEM mounts were torn to **** so Dan installed some ES inserts along with Prothane shifter bushings. Honestly, the inserts have to be the most noticeable mod I have ever done to the caR. As just about everyone who has them says, they really do make you feel like the motor is an extension of your self. I can't really explain it but you get the drift

My caR has just over 50k miles on it and was definately due for a valve adjustment. Upon cracking open the valve cover we realized all my valves were pretty off. Now the car idles and it's nearly "quiet"

Once that was all done we installed some bling, because after all what is a Hype-R thread without some Hype-R bling? Marc aka BlueR aka the guy who is nearly completely responsible for the whoring of #97 got me a set of Defi D gauges a few weeks ago and I've been dying to put them in so I brought them along with me. The install went well and they are pretty blingin'

So, in the end, my caR feels brand new, is pretty quiet, and bling blangin!

A huge thanks goes out to Dan GSR, he is an awesome mechanic and a good friend above all. I owe you a shlode of 's at Expo if you make it

And a huge thank you to BlueR for getting me (and anyone else who wants them just PM him) these gauges for an awesome price

Here are some pics of the bling.

If I can figure out how to post videos I have a few of the gauges at start up

And just for the sake of compairing colors

Noice!!! Love the Defi line-up. Think I'll PM BlueR and get the hook up. My Autometers just aren't cuttin' it

Opie needs to post some picks of his car for all to see
