Default OG Civic gets 10.1" brakes and 2 piston calipers.

the old rotor over the top of the new one. not a great angle, but you can see the new rotor is much bigger (GSR).

comparison of the pad size. the new pads are about twice the size of the old ones.

the old calipers look dinky compared to the new two piston (Acura NSX/Legend).

the bitch of a rotor i had to break apart to get off the hub.

new setup on it's own.

behind a Fat Five.

rollin on 3/4 dubs.

everything was a complete bolt on, but not a complete bolt OFF. getting the old hardware out was a BASTARD and it took me most of the day to finish this up.

That looks great man. What parts were needed? Legend/ NSX calipers, new rotor and ???.

What year is that civic? 76-77?

it's an 82 civic. as for parts, the only other thing i needed was wheels, since the nsx calipers wouldn't fit under the stock 13s, so i went w/ the fat fives.

everything else was a direct bolt on (for the 2G, for you 3G and up guys there's slight mods that need to be done), i followed this write up:

thanks jonathan.

as per how the perform. WOW. little mushy on the pedal (b/c i still haven't replaced the brake booster and master cylinder) until about a 1/4 way into the pedal then BAM, brakes are on.

Hey bro, looking good!

Were you able to run that GSR wheel without a spacer?

Cool

Awesome man.

I'm going to have to go back to a smaller setup on my '83. I put my 15" wheels on my new car, so the '83 is going back to some 13" wheels until I can afford new tires for my OTHER set of 15" wheels.

Your car is coming along great man!
