trans. question?
I just bought a 94 gsr with 195,000 miles. The tranny was fine when i test drove it and was good til i got it home. now the car wont go into any gear at all, so i put a act clutch anda fidanza flywheel in the car, a new slave, clutch master cylinder, and a fluid change with 10w40. same problem will not go into gear while the car is running. the clutch i took out had a spring that fell out of it and i figured that was the problem, but no. if the car is off it goes in to gear fine. no noise's are coming from tranny. I already seached the topic and dident get a good explaination.
would like a little help plz. Thanks.

for the most part i had the springs and the raised hub facing out into the pressure plate. i just started to take the tranny back out. i am starting to think you cant use a stock thorw out bearing on a act clutch.

ok i just pulled the tranny again and nothing is out of whack. the only thing i can think of is that you can not use a stock replacement throw-out bearing with a act clutch set up. the bearing is for sure contacting the pressure plate but i dont think its enough. anyone know if that is the case? let me know plz.
