Default Firewall question

I need to run some wires from my engine bay to the inside of my car and there is a hole in the fire wall that is plugged with some sort of rubber stopper right under the battery kinda to the right a little....does anyone know how to access this from the inside of my car???

There's one on each side I'm pretty sure. You just need to reach up under your dash and find it. It's not fun.

It's easier to cut a slit into it in the engine bay and pass a stiff wire through. That grommet is behind the glove compartment, very high up with only an inch or so clearance to the heater ducting. It's very tough to access from the inside of the car.
