Default Import Shop Input...

Hello all,

I am writing a business plan for one of my business classes..i wanted to write a plan for opening an aftermarket parts store. I figured that there is probably little to no demand for ANOTHER import shop on the West Coast. Where you you guys believe there is an under supplied market here in the states with lots of growth potential? If there is one! My guess would be East Coast somewhere, any input you guys can give me will be priceless....

I would suspect that states/cities put out car census that suggest what make/model cars are sold the most in that area (kinda like the insurance companies do) so I would think it would be profitable to put an import shop in those areas. Also, the population of a city will also affect the outcome of a specific car sales considerably. Hense, if you live in a city that is rural and mostly older in age, you aren't gonna have as many importers. Just a suggestion.

outside of philly in the suburbs like King Of Prussia, Exton, Pottstown, Allentown, Quakertown, Montgomeryville, any of those places would be nice. In the city you can get stuff but out here, there is nothing. Kids around here have to fill up their NO2 bottles in domestic performance shops, b/c the imprt shops around here (if any) are just rims, intakes, and exhausts.
