Default power mirror's messing up help

hi, when I try to adjust the power mirrors with the switch it would move to a direction. But if i move more on that same direction the mirror would get stuck and jump back. Should i replace the mirrors itself? or is it a switch problem. thx.

Are you sure you haven't adjusted as far as it can go?

You are adjusting it as far as it can go. Stop it. All your doing is forcing the gear to jump or pop over and then the mirror snaps back. If the mirror is working then leave it alone. Sounds like your just over adjusting it.

If for example, you are adjusting your passenger-side mirror outward and it's jumping back when it isn't far out enough, just adjust the mirror inward until it jumps back, then start over and adjust the mirror outward again.

on the inside of the door behind the mirror, there's a balck cover just pry it out and you should see three locking nuts, just unbolt them. The mirror should come off if you pull it. The inside of the mirror house consist of the motor that power the power mirror. Just loosen the screws on the bottom and the mirror should come off ...then go from there and look for the probelm.
