Default H22 Header on F22 base

Searched around a bit and I'm running a stock '97 4 cyl f22 auto, and a friend suggested I look into putting an h22 header on the f22, and possibly boosting on top of that. I also plan on doing a auto to 5 speed swap this summer, just wondering if anyone has had any experience with that swap (h22 header on f22) and if it's really worth it. All help is appreciated as I'm fairly new to Honda modding(long time owner though) Thanks in advance!

well sure you can put it on, but it tends to leave lots of exhaust spewing out under the hood.
why not get an f22 header instead? after all it is designed to fit the f22...

kinda hard to put a turbo manifold on with a header on there. just save up for boost, much cooler.

do you perhaps mean an H22 head on an F22 block?

i dont think he really knows what he means

before you boost, or ad any part to your car for that matter, learn as much as you can about it, and about other hondas (those whose parts you can utilize as an upgrade.....)

i figured he was confused as well. i didn't think a f22 header would fit on a h22. when i did my f22 to h22 swap i had to get new headers. more than likely he is referring to the head and not headers.

I think you mean an H22 head. Seriously, before doing anything else research a little more. Also it would probably be cheaper and easier to just put an H22 in.
