fuel pump
nope no need to drop the tank
1. remove the back seat, disconnect the wiring and push the grommet through so it falls free.
2. take off plastic cover under the car next to fuel tank, under you will find the fuel lines, disconnect, I think there are 3 of them. Also disconnect the fuel tank fill hose and vent hose. If you are having troubles with the lines, you can do most of step 3, lower the tank a bit with the jack and then work the lines.
3. brace fuel tank with jack, remove 2 bolts holding tank straps in. Should be able to drop the tank, you need to clear the exhaust in the front and on the pass side so kind of angle it out.
4. on the top of the now removed fuel tank remove round metal plate that all the lines you just disconnected went to and slowly pull out the pump, may need to turn it a bit.
