after searching for a while on ht for white spark plug

i been getting mix answer that white is good or its lean

which one is it!

i have a jdm b16a sir2 the spark plug have about 500miles on it
the electrode are white

 

I wouldn't worry about it, when I replace plugs I alwalys see white.

 

i read this some where.. it was in a repair book i found in my dad's old garage. i guess its the wear and tare of an spark plug. i dont know

 

so is white good or bad....


i have a stock jdm b16a into my 94 eg cx
im still using the cx fuel pump if that affects it

 

It all depends on how white the spark plugs are. If there whiter then paper then thats bad. But white here and there isnt a problem.

If your paranoid post a pic of your spark plugs and well tell you whats up.

oops, lol, i didn't read the whole thing, white is fine with 500 miles. if your so worried about bieng lean do a fuel psi and volume test and look at 94 delsol specs.

 

There's going to be some white on it, normal signs of aging and deterioration. If they are snow white all over, something is wrong.

I believe extreme white = lean and extreme rich = black.

 

weeee i forgot about my post on this
i just took some pics after 1500miles on them
dont mind the 3rd spark plug washer ring. i lost the new one and replaced it with a old one

 

you need to get rid of those autolite plugs and get some ngk's

 

Yeah...loose the Autolite platinums....Seriously get the NGK V-Powers...1.50+ or the NGK Iridiums for like 5.00+ but the V-Powers are really good for the price...

 

whats wrong with autolite plugs?
