First off, wow am i fried, i spelled donut wrong......damn it has been a long day.

Everything thing i read said to replace the manifold gasket ($11, not too bad) But nothing was mentioned about the donut. It is a wedge gasket so i cant see it going bad, espically with the spring bolts allways putting closing preasure on it

if you are getting a 2.5 inch header, you are going to have to replace it anyway, but it would be a good idea to in general. I never replaced my manifold gasket, but if you want to spend the money it is not going to hurt
