what else is wrong with the r6? have you had someone knowledgable look at it?

I personally would stay away from that vintage tt600 for a beginner bike.

r6 for a first bike is pretty ballsy IMO.

Wasn't that the year the TT600 had electrical gremlins? I could be mistaken. The TT600 is a great all-rounder bike, but not as nice as the Honda (F4i) or Kawi (ZX6R) of the same year.

The R6 can be a handful for a beginner. A blown clutch isn't a serious issue, if you're mechanically inclined. My question would be, what led to the clutch failure? And how did it get the dent in the tank?

Do you have your motorcycle endorsement? You might want to look into that.

well my guess he burned it out it does have 15k on it and i would probably have a shop do it to tell you the truth dent in the tank happened by something falling on it in the garage and as in the endorsment you mean permit? thats already in the works thanks marmalade most helpful yet and i know its gonna be a handful for me im just gonna take it slow
