Default Swapping in new alternator having trouble

I have a 95 teg and am swapping in a new alternator...im having trouble taking it out of its stock position....How do i remove the alternator in a safe position? Im having trouble at the moment and thinking i shoulda just got a mechanic to do it.....but i know i can finsiht his project so if somebody can plz help me that would be very nice...thank you

If its anything like the 90-93 integra, you have to remove the rear axle and the mount for thhe alternator

just take off the oil filter..and slide it thru ...its much easier...and yes this can be done.....

if you have taken out both of the bolts that were holding it in, then you can drop it through the bottom. if you are trying to get it through the top, you might have to move the power steering hose and fuel line. go through the bottom, its much easier.
