What else can I do while I'm replaceing oilpan/gasket?
I'm going to be replacing the oil pan and gasket on my CRX soon. I want to know if there is anything else I should do while I have it all apart.
remove the oil pick up and take a look inside the filter. check to see if theres anything. if nothing, then all is good. just hope you dont find copper bits.
torque the nuts properly and use loctite. loctitie isnt called out for, and shouldnt really be needed, but the torque spec is so low, ive noticed a few of my nuts have fallen off. just dont be tempted to over torque, or the gasket will leak.

leak or the bolt will break, thats about all you can do when you take out the oil pan.

OK, I'll clean out the pickup and be super careful about torquing the nuts... I did also pick up some new studs as well... I just had a feeling I might need em.
