Now that I know what engine I want (B16A) what can I do to top it off to 200hp on a budget?

well all-motor you can get 200whp out of the b16 block but just get a gsr block, ctr pistons, port the head gets some nice cams and a good header, intake mani combo.

out of a b16?

if you want 200whp on a budget, just throw a 50-75 shot on the b16 and call it a day

Yea I made 160whp with I/H/E and ctr pistons on a rebuilt block. Then again it only cost me like 1400for all of that. If you got some good headers you could probably get more hp from it. But that would probably cost over 800 definately. Cams are going to run you from 300 to 1200 if you need to upgrade your valvetrain. All in all it'll probably cost a few grand in modifications after you get your engine. Oh yea my injectors are almost maxed at 160whp so you'll probably need new ones of those too.
