sometimes if i dont smoothly shift at a low RPM the car of course jerks like anyother car, but then it makes a popping noise or a clicking noise. it sounds like the noise you make when u put ur tongue on the roof of ur mouth and pop it, i thought iw would be either the axel or a motor mount, can any of you help me out with this problem. I had that problem on my eg three times, for all different reasons (1) lack of grease on axle(2) loose top bolts on rear shock tower(3)and finally the easy one that drove me crazy because I couldn't find the problem, it was the damn seat belt hitting the car when I drove fast

 

Could also be the balljoints on the front suspension.

There are 6. 2 lower, 2 upper, 2 tie rod end. Just replaced the lower on mine yesterday. Seems to have helped some.
