Red supra - 800+ rwhp

Did you ever get to dyno with just the AEM CAI? I'm wondering how much you gained from the V-AFC tuning.

 

yes i did... my run without the tuning and just the AEM CAI was 167.4whp and 120.? trq

hey, you should be happy, you've got a strong *** stock type R, mine only dyno'ed 165.2 with an AEM CAI. BUT my friends dyno'ed at 169.7 with the ICE BOX

Yep, I got some dyno plots around ehre somewhere... gimme a few minutes to find em. 22 in fact. I was there a long time that day
The camera is a Canon Rebel G2000 and an Epson Perfection 1200u. I need a good digicam now though. I want that 5.2megapixel Sony one but its $$$ out the wazzoo.

I keep hearing about how the AEM CAI has a power spike. Is it a spike up or down? Can someone point it out on Xerex's dyno graphs? TIA

Your referring to the "power spike" downward i'm guesing. Is there a solution to it or is it something to live with with the AEM?
