Fans not coming on?
My brother has a DA9, last night when he came home and asked me to check to see if his fans were running on. I checked and they were not, he then shut the car off and the fans still didn't come on.
When is the radiatior fan supposed to come on? Is it broke?

What do you mean? Sorry, I'm not too familiar on how to check that.

His temp guage reads a little below 1/2 and it doesn't click on.

When you run/idle the car for a few minutes, the thermostat should open. It's basically a mechanical device that "opens" when a certain temperature is reached. When it does, the engine "noise" changes a little, and you'll notice the water temp gauge drop about half a centimeter. The fans turn on at this point. At this point, the thermo is open and the water/coolant is now circulating through the engine using the water pump.

In that case, the fans shouldn't turn on. They should only turn on when a certain temperature is reached. Try idling the car longer. Usually when the gauge hits halfway, the thermo will open, and the fans will turn on. Then the gauge will drop again to a little below half.
