i just did a timing adjustment. but have a question that puzzled me. When I did the timing the gun was set at 16btdc so lined everything up with the white mark. I checked it when the gun was set to 0. i was expecting everything to line up with the center red mark. what was weird is that it doesn't line up with any of the red marks but when i set the gun back to 16btdc i can line up with the white mark perfectly w/o making any more adjustments. Can anyone shed some light on this?

 

Dont forget to reset the ECU also.
