i only got 3 passes. on my fourth i broke my drivers side axle...
btw the staff at the california speedway were anything but helpfull.
i had to push my car from the strip to the street, they threatend to have it impounded
to make it worse i was stuck there untill 2:00 in the morning waiting for aaa!
i still had a !@#$ing blast tho. im so addicted now!

my set up is b20b block, b16 head stock
short ram intake, test pipe, 4-1 header, vafc2, dyno tuned 173 hp 132 tq on 87 octane
(i also had to put 87 octane in on race day dont ask why)

cant wait to build my car up some more and get slicks for next time


oh and chasis is 96 hatch full interior

 

Hey, nice times man. Get those 60' down to like low 2.2's or even 2.1's and you will be close to 13's.

yeah those ******* suck there. same **** happen to me. had to tow my car from there all the way back to LA.

pretty good for your first time, and every .1 sec taken off your 60' time = give or take .2 sec taken off your ET

Hey I was there too. My first time at that track. Good timeslip man!

I had some bad luck also, my tranny or clutch or something went out on me. Luckily it still had enough to get me home, or else I would've been pushing my car along side of you. Now that i think of it, I passed three cars with guys pushing them on my way out. That is one hell of a long way to the gate.

Curious were you the car that was near the EVO doing figure 8's?

lol no i was the guy pushing the 96 hatch (red) on black rota 15 inch slipstreams
my girlfriend was also helping me push the car also.. wasnt me doin the figure 8's
