Spoon calipers on AEM big brak rotors?
Wasnt sure where to post this. I know that the spoon calipers are designed to fit stock size rotors, I bought the AEM ones for $200 a while ago and even though everyone knocks them i absolutely love them but im looking for just a little more bite. I have been debating on whether to leave it just the AEM, throw on spoon calipers if they will fit, or go to a wilwood big brake set up. but mostly my question is since the AEM kit relocates and uses the stock caliper can it do the same with the spoon calipers? thanks
What car is this for? ITR? If not Id assume you have a brake swap already.
If you are JDM 32mm axle 114x4 then I dont think AEM makes a rotor for that ap but you would want the 96ITR spoon caliper.
If you are JDM 36mm axle 5 lug then the AEM rotors for the 97 prelude sh will work and you would want the 98 ITR spoon caliper.
If you are USITR you want the 98 ITR aem rotor and spoon caliper.

not sure about fitment. Remember Spoon calipers are for stock dimensioned rotors. So to make them work on AEM, assuming the brake pads make proper contact (please check this, due to diameter of ITR rotors vs AEM), the offset of the caliper may be wrong in reference to the rotor. If no such caliper bracket exists, maybe a metal shop can custom one.

AEM does not make calipers.
EDIT: In case you were wondering they once sold Brembo calipers in black with an AEM sticker on them, but there not really AEM
