Default Time for an exhaust ..

Well i'm starting to look at exhausts for my 03 600RR. I'm finding that most exhaust look like *** (dont look flush, stick out way to far, etc) and ruin the clean undertail look. I read that they look like that cause alot of company stick generic mufflers in there, rather then designing a specific application for the RR.

I've narrowed it down to 3 choices.

1) Yoshimura RS-5 CF
2) Micron single or twin outlet
3) Erion Racing

I have not heard any of these exhausts, i only know that they look good are are reputable, quality companies. I'm looking for a deep, throaty, somewhat loud but not LOUD.

Here are some pics:
Yoshimura

Micron (single)

Micron (twin)

Erion

I know the Erion makes pretty good power, but dont know about the rest.

Any comments, feedback, personal experience, etc? Thanks!

THIS IS ODIEDOGCX .. ON A FRIENDS ACCOUNT!!!!

hah these threads are so pointless .. only because i know i'll get a million answers, and yes, i know i still asked.

i'm not sure if i want a slip on or full exhaust, it depends on the brand and $$$ .. but right now i'm looking for what looks clean. My bike has enough power for me, i just want something that looks good and has a good sound to it. I dont know if thats "squidly" or anything, but my bike is fast enough for me.

You can keep the opinions coming, i'm still listening!

the Termignoni pipe for the 600rr sucks at life; it sticks out way too much. they seemed to have got it right for the 1000rr though.

Get the Yoshimura. None of the others are even in the same class.

My experience with Yoshimura pipes while I haven't used them on this bike I have used the on others and talked to a guy who have tested differnt pipes on a dyno at his shop and looked at his dyno charts. Maybe it's differnt for this bike though. I still would get the Yoshimura.

Their full system also gives the most power, another comparable system to the Arata is Akrapovic both in power and weight savings mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm love that Ti

I would go with the Arata slip on, hell if i had the money i would go with the system...

Im getting an Arata slip on and Power commander sent to me in the next few days along with some maps from other 600RR's they have done, ive heard nothing but great comments and from looking at the dyno results from an aurthorised dealer of Arata and powercommander (which are stated on the Manufacturers site) i wouldnt go with nothing other than the Arata full system, But even though im only getting the slip on the guys from doinbikes.com.au say its the best system/slip they have ever seen put together and add that to the sound, its light weigth ( some thing like 14kg lighter) and extra power it puts out after the bike is correctly mapped on a dyno its out doing the micro serpent etc etc on the charts by atleast 2-3 HP and more so on other pipes/systems....

But i cant wait to get my new toys and try them out and after i have it put together ill let you all know how it goes "fingers crossed"

You all have to have a look at the dyno charts on their site just to see the results, http://www.doinbikes.com.au
